Coaching and Training Plan

The quality of our coaching is at the heart of Epic Running. We want coaches who are not only athletes themselves, but understand how to share their knowledge and motivate every runner to be the best they can be.

Our running coaches are all expert long distance runners from straight halves and marathons to epic ultras. They all coach clients of every level back in the UK from novices to elites and every shade in between. They will give you first class guidance on gait, technique, programmes and race mentality.

Our stretching and core coaches are specialists in their field and will help you prevent injury, get looser and strengthen your body so that it isn’t just your legs that take the strain.

During your time with them they will help you with your programme, whether that be a 10km training plan, a half marathon training plan or a full marathon training plan. If you are a beginner or an intermediate, then they will talk you through how you can progress through the distances and improve your time.

The aim of each of our coaches is to give you the tools you need to get to where you want to both mentally and physically. If you are a slow runner, you’ll be amazed how your speed will improve and you start achieving PBs you never thought possible. If you are a fast runner already, you will love seeing those minutes shaved off your times.
